Apricot + Brie Crostini

Whether you're looking to make a quick appetizer for a dinner party or simply in the mood to elevate your afternoon snack, this is for you. In a crunch for time? No worries, this apricot & brie crostini recipe can be whipped up from start to finish in less than 10 minutes. On second thought, can we even call this a recipe?

But real quick, what's a crostini? Crostini translates to "toast" in Italian and is typically slices of a baguette toasted to perfection. They are mostly known for being small vessels for delicious toppings! (Keep scrolling for more tasty crostini combinations.)

Bring a stale baguette back to life

Ingredients:

  • One baguette

  • Brie (either a large wheel or the small bite-sized wheels from Trader Joe's)

  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup apricot jam or your preferred jam/preserves

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F.

  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2" slices and place on a baking sheet.

  3. Add a slice of brie to each baguette slice and toss in the oven for 6-7 minutes; or until the bread is toasted and the cheese is soft & melted.

  4. While still hot, carefully spread each piece with a layer of jam or preserves.

  • Cream cheese + smoked salmon

  • Chocolate hummus + sliced strawberries

  • Ricotta + prosciutto + sliced peach
